A clock signal with a frequency of about 1Hz. This was accomplished using a NE555 integrated circuit (the tiny one), two 10KΩ resistors and a 47μF capacitor. The other integrated circuit is a L7805 voltage regulator. It takes the 9V from the battery down to 5V.
